Fayette County Public Schools recognizes that parent/family engagement is essential as we partner to educate our district’s students and to prepare them for life-long learning. Schools, families, and community must all be actively involved in developing strong programs and policies that support the academic success of every student. All those interested in becoming a volunteer must register and pass a background check. Start here

Parent Portal support 

FCPS recommends its IC Parent Portal Support Site for those who:

  • Have not registered for an account and would like to request a Parent Portal Activation Key;
  • Have registered in the past but cannot remember their username and/or password; and
  • Have no idea and need someone to help them troubleshoot.


Comprehensive School Improvement Plan (CSIP)

Our improvement efforts focus on student needs through a collaborative process involving all stakeholders to establish and address priority needs, district funding, and closing achievement gaps between identified subgroups of students. Additionally, we build upon our capacity for high-quality planning by making connections between academic resources and available funding to address targeted needs.
